The smile she had forced became soft and authentic and charming and finally that pointer finger was down pointing to her signalling they were live. “Roses are red,” She didn’t even mind the silly little ‘poem’ she had to say now, “true love is rare,” though her ‘guys’ might sass her about it later, “Let’s get these Lucky Lovers Competition prizes-“ She pauses, dramatic effect before continuing, “to a lucky couple out there!?” And that said it was time to introduce herself and Channel Six and read out the winners. “Hello guys and a very happy valentine’s day, this is April O’Neil with Channel Six News…”
She read out three lucky (she hoped) couples and then thanked the sponsors of the competition before ending this news segment with a small piece to the turtles, their father and Casey would see if they were watching, “And to my special guys out there – you know whom you are – enjoy today knowing you are all My Valentine.”
