| Date – Nov. 6th Time - ??? (Sometime around Cultural Exchange)
((Mel can post whenever she’s ready, I was just really looking forward to writing this post!! X3))
It was rather late at night. Much too late to be wide awake still, but alas she was. It was another sleepless night to Lydia’s dismay. Therefore she sat at her kitchen table, dressed in a simple pink nightgown, sipping tea that she’d heard would potentially help her to sleep better. So far it wasn’t exactly helping her, though it did taste quite nice. Especially with all the extra sugar she’d added. Five whole spoonfuls, plus one half. Maybe less sugar would make it more effective? Nonsense. It wouldn’t taste as good that way.
It’d been four days since her parents had left for their trip. She’d had a short phone conversation with her mother two nights ago, and the previous night she’d attempted to call her brother as well but he didn’t reply. Typical. She almost wanted to try calling him again today, but she talked herself out of it. If he wouldn’t talk then, he probably wouldn’t want to talk today either.
These four days on her own were dull, yet peaceful. But they were also a bit lonely.
She’d been hearing a lot of noise from the nearby building. There’d been a couple different cars driving down the road towards that place, and though she could hardly see through her window, some kind of animals were being brought in there. She couldn’t tell what sort of animals they were, though. It was odd.
She’d heard a little bit about that place from her parents. Some sort of laboratory that performed experiments and build powerful machines. Nothing that Lydia really cared about. However, right now she was feeling mildly curious about the place. Just mildly.

| Mel cursed and yelled when she was thrown into the apartment that was supposed to be her new "home". It was nothing of the sort just something Stockass put her in to try to please her when it did nothing but piss her off. Growling she got up seeing nothing but red not only was she nothing more but an experiment along with Aly who was going along with it but there were giant talking human like turtles being held captive which was even worse.
Letting out an animalistic scream the young teen started to destroy everything that had any value in the apartment that she could pick up and throw into walls or smash. She wanted Stockass to pay even if it was to hurt his wallet it was a start until she calmed down.

| At the sound of screaming, Lydia fell right out of her chair - taking the teacup with her, which shattered and spilled tea everywhere. A little cut appeared on her finger where a bit of the broken cup scratched her. What was happening?! Wasn't the neighboring apartment empty? Who was screaming, and why? Lydia didn't like this. Lydia didn't like this at all!
Then came the sound of smashing items, and more screams. Was this a murder? Was there a serial killer in the next apartment? Would he come here next?!
Shaking, Lydia frantically snatched up her cell phone. Who to call? Who to call? She only had four numbers in her phone's contacts: She couldn't call either parent as they were away, obviously her brother wouldn't help, so that left... GranGran!
Hopefully she'd answer - it was really late at night! She'd probably be sleeping... But Lydia wasn't taking any chances so she quickly hit the button and listened to the ring. "Nee~ Pick up...please?" she whispered, pacing. On the sound of another loud crash, she ran into the bathroom. She just then became aware that her finger was bleeding. Cringing, she searched the bathroom cabinets for bandaids while she waited for GranGran to answer.

| Thank goodness! She answered.
Taking a deep breath, Lydia spoke - trying her hardest to stay calm and to enunciate her words properly. Still, she was shaking.
"Th-there's a lot of scary n-noise coming from next door! I th-thought was empty, er, the apartment, but th-there's somebody there and it-it's really loud... Sounds like screaming, and...and lots of broken glass or something! Lots of screaming. Scared..."
She then added, her tone a bit softer. "and I dropped and broke my favorite teacup..."

- She listened trying to piece together what Lydia was trying to tell her. It certainly sounded scary. Especially for a young woman usually left alone for great periods of time. "It'll be alright dear - look I'll bring some food -" after all she was cooking. "and super glue - if we cannot fix your cup we'll do a little online shopping." She assures voice gentle. "And try not to fret sweety it's probably just some one unwinding after a long day - I'll be there soon as I can."

| "O-okay! Th-thank you...see you s-soon!" Lydia hung up and slumped to the floor. She'd finally found a small box of bandaids, and began to put one around her cut finger. All the while she tried to control her breathing in an attempt to calm down and relax. Breathe in and breathe out. Breathe in and breathe out. Over and over again as she waited for GranGran. | |

| Rolling her eyes at the enormous humvees parked either side of her granddaughters little volkswagon Ida took her scooter, enjoying the total freedom the little go around vehicle provided and the slightly less crowded and busy streets of night time driving.
It would not take her long to reach Lydia's folks place and parking where they usually did - through tucking her scooter right up the top of the space so if her folks were back early there was plenty of room for their car She tucks the helmet in the back compartment and ruffling her hair heads up to Lydia's place letting herself in with the spare key she had. "LyBug! darling you still in the bathroom?" She calls out to let the frightened youth know it was her - she could also make out all the racket and understood thoroughly the nervous, shy Lydia's fright.

| Lydia heard the familiar voice and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Here!" she responded, opening the bathroom door and peeking out. The sounds from next door continued on still, and it was almost getting to the point where it was irritating. What could possibly be going on over there? Surely every piece of furniture had to have been destroyed by now!!
"W-what do you suppose is happening in there?"

| Ida listened to the noises and frowns deeply heading towards the bathroom and smiling gently at the peeking of eyes around the door. It was a shame her grand daughter and Lydia had never really clicked as friends. It would have done both girls a world of good.
"I... I have no idea Ly - all manner of things... I - should I call police?" She wonders out loud the noises... "Sounds like only one person - could be having a fit, or tantrum..." She shrugs... a little. It was never good to assume things really.
heck she could understand the youths fear and fright.
And given Lydia was already a timid sort of personality...
And then, "Give me a look at your cut... is it bad? and the cup - perhaps we can fix it." She adds hoping to entice Lydida from the bathroom and perhaps the pair of them could go see what was going on together.

| With all the stuff thoroughly destroyed Mel stopped her destruction while panting still pissed off at the situation. She and Aly had been changed against their wills with the threat of death because of a poison and who knows what else. Giant human like turtles were being held in that damn lab with security being somewhat tight making it a bit difficult to get in and free them. Aly was still in the lab for some reason and even for some stupid reason liked it there. So there was a lot to be pissed off about.
" There has to be some way to turn everything around but how?" The young teen asked out loud scratching her head to try to think only to feel some hair fall off her head more than usual.
" Please just be stress and not the green stuff causing this I really don't need more problems." Mel fumed looking down on the ground seeing a small chunk of hair on the floor as if she was a dog shedding. The universe had decided to prove her wrong on this one and that was so unfair.

| "Ehhh? I don't hear anything anymore."
Lydia slowly stepped out of the bathroom, displaying her bandaged finger to show that she was alright. She then pointed towards the table, where the shattered teacup lied nearby.
There was no longer the sounds of yelling and smashing coming from next door. It had fallen relatively silent, with only the faint sound of someone's voice. Lydia couldn't make out the words. However, the voice didn't sound very old. Could it possibly be a young girl? But that seemed impossible to Lydia. How could one girl possibly be able to destroy all that heavy furniture on her own? She pushed that thought aside, deeming it improbable.
"Its stopped, why do you think it stopped?" Lydia said, frowning slightly.

| " That does it I'm going back to that lab and tearing Stockass a new one and getting those turtles free. If Aly doesn't want to come she's chosen her fate." Mel growled to herself going into the remains of a destroyed kitchen quickly finding a knife on the floor and picked up hiding it in a hoodie pocket. It was just a steak knife but it would do for now. Heading to the door of the apartment she opened it and left it open to whoever would walk in to see a tantrum gone awry. She was on a mission to find Stockman in the lab and kill him. | |

| "Your right -" Ida listens to the silence which seemed to be ringing in the aftermath of all that racket.
She shrugs. "Well we can go see what it was all about if you like - and then fix the cup." She offers, whatever Lydia felt like doing. Though as ever curious Ida was wanting to go straight out and snoop!

| Part of her wanted to curl up in her bed, hidden away by large warm blankets, and merely ignore and avoid whatever had been making that racket. It was scary, and she didn't really want to know what was going on. However, a part of her did. Curiosity was powerful, and she felt that if she never did find out what it was then she'd be frustrated for a very very long time. She didn't want that either.
It wouldn't hurt to peek, right? Right?
"Well...I guess we could look bit. Just for a bit. To see what it was," she replied, nodding. Might as well.

| "Alright - but we'll be careful." Ida insists leading the way to Lydia's spotlessly kept kitchen and familiar with the place of course the older woman found immediately the large heavy saucepan and readies it in her hand encase she had to use it offensively. "Just encase." She adds, judging by the fact there was not an almost eerie and rather...
empty...
feeling silence, arming herself may not have been necessary at all. But whom knew?!
"Come on then Lybug - come on." and bravely leading the way to the door she waits for Lydia to join her hand on the door knob.

| "It's weird...the door is wide open," Lydia said, feigning bravery and walking towards the doorway with Ida. One peek into the room and she let out a gasp.
What a ridiculous mess! Every single piece of furniture was knocked over, there was a mess of glass all over the place, and it appeared that all the drawers contents had been carelessly dumped upon the floor. Why anybody would do such a terrible thing to a perfectly nice apartment Lydia didn't know.
And the door was left wide open, therefore whoever had made this mess had just now left.
"Well...whoever did this hasn't gone far. Must've just now left. Wonder who did it, and why?"

| "I ... I am not sure Lybug," Ida eyed the mess. It was impossible to tell but... She was fairly certain it was not a robbery... Just everything that was here in the first place strewn all over what had been a well kempt apartment.
She humphs in thought her nose wrinkling a little as she disapproves of the thought in her mind. "as much as I do not like to lump all young folks as one, especially as I know two very lovely young ladies you and Erica both grandfathers... but this looks like some young teens temper tantrum... what a selfish, ungrateful thing then should it be true." she shrugs a little and could hear echoing in the apartment through a open window some where the wail of sirens nods to her companion. "we should head back to your place and see what we can do for yous tea cup, this is a mess for insurance now." she encourages her to lead on back to her place.

| "Kay," Lydia replied, taking one last peek into the doorway before walking away and into her own apartment again.
It did seem as if it were a teen. A young teen, possibly younger than herself. And a girl...? Maybe. Or a boy, she couldn't quite tell. She could sense some distress - something had clearly been wrong in there. But what? And why destroy the place?
She didn't share any of this with Ida.
Back inside she pointed out the broken cup.
"Over here! It's been pretty badly broken...don't know if it's fixable. Do ya think?"

| Ida followed, thoughts in her head perhaps the whomever it was was hurt, but looking down at the carpeting she could not see blood of any sort, wet marks indicating drooling and this carpet was the sort that left faint imprints of those traveling it and there did not seem to be scruff dragged marks that would indicate some one hurt dragging themselves out.
And knowing the police would be in to do the report soon she slid into Lydia's home behind her closing the door softly.
Looking to Where her charge was pointing Ida moved over to it and gathers the pieces. "well it may never be whole again or as pretty but maybe can make it serviceable once more." she smiles bringing the pieces to the dining table and sitting, indicating Lydia should join her in the seat beside and finally unslung her shoulder bag. "we'll try a silicone sealant, Dap..." she nods and pulling the tube of stuff from herr bag along with what was once one of Erica's old shirts layer with a water proof vests outlining she sets to carefully piecing what was left of the cup into its original shape squeezing, spreading and smoothing the adhesive into and over the cracks, filling those gaps where pieces of cup was either too small to be founds or just dust now. She speaks as she starts, rather like a three d puzzle. "so when did you start hearing all the racket next door? Would have brought Erica over, she's been really good with rowdy people.. But she was in a rush to return to work... Ah first boyfriend at the work place..." she chuckles, inviting Lydia to talk and share her days since they last seen each other, take her young mind off the fear of before, moving the pieces and tube to where she could help Ida piece by piece remodel the special cup.
