Cat and Mouse

" Last time I took meds I got knocked out for hours so no." She replied as she sat down beside Mikey having no choice.

" Why wouldn't they like seeing people not like we would do anything." Mel commented curious about that.

Love was very careful with each stitch. Lucky for her she had great vision in the dark, and given that there was some light coming through it was better. Love understood the need to keep secret from Mel, and after meeting the tiger guy understood his hesitation to full trust her. It was a shame when other mutants couldn't trust each other. For a while she thought she was the only one, but had seen the turtles once jumping around the roof tops.

Now knowing that there was another cat running around made her excited. Someone she could relate to! Or at least someone to relate to her. Though, she liked Mike and wondered if making friends with Tiger guy was a good idea.

Finally she finished stitching Mike up and she put a bandage over everything. she then put everything back in the kit and tucked it in his belt for him.

there you go, Handsome. All better. Try not to get it wet. So! Obviously we Mel can't stay where you wanted her to...Can you call your family? See if it's ok for you to bring in the best cat you ever seen, and some human kid to your place?

Tiger Claw had scrambled back up the building, claws digging and ripping at brick and mortar leaving deep furrows, and then seeing the turtle was gone and the girls... and sniffing the air he followed the left trail - then it was gone and he let loose a roar that rattled the building windows about him.

Mikey sighed - he really shouldn't and his brothers and father were usually far too bury at this time of day to help out... but maybe...

he takes out his shell cell whilst rolling his eyes at Mel, "It's regular strength tylonel the most it will do is make you drowsy not knock you out completely - I mean come on I just fought a angry Tiger man doesn't that tell you I aint going to hurt you?" He grins at Love and pet pet pets her thick furr smiling and relaxing back sending a distress sms to his brothers - one or more would respond and track him with the phones to this spot. "Thanks pretty kitty." He winks grinning.

" Sorry Mikey not used to the whole not everyone is gonna hurt me bit." Mel admitted as she tried to stretch out her leg trying not to wince while Love took care of Mikey's wounds not knowing if anyone else was gonna show up.

" Think we lost that big bad tiger?" The young teen asked hoping that they did not knowing if that cat was persistent or not.

Love took a seat in Mike's lap and wrapped an arm around his neck. She watched as he sent a message out to his family. Maybe they would be cool too and let them stay with them, for a bit anyway.

Leo was the first to get the message. He quickly pulled out his phone and dialed Mike's number as he looked for everyone else. Guys! Something is up with Mike! He shouted as he waited for Mike to pick up.

Mikey smiles and nuzzles Love and went to respond to Mel gently and in a friendly manner - blinking, his vision blurring a little and it was dizzy... he frowns hearing his shell cell like it was a badly tuned radio - dropping in and out.... fuzzy and unclear... but he recognize the tone 'Fearless' by taylor swift and after a few blinks pushed the on screen, "Leoooo?" his oooo vowel sound dragging a little in a slur.

huh he was definitely not feeling good!

" That doesn't sound good." Mel commented as she looked through the first aid box trying to find something that would help even though she had no idea what anything was. The young teen grabbed a random bottle with liquid in it.

" Mikey think this will help?" She asked as she held up the bottle with the clear liquid in it she couldn't even find a label on it so she had no clue what it was.

Well at least the turtle would have his gift...

And being that Belladonna was a little used poison it should take his family sometime to sort it out....

Mike, are you ok? She looked at Mel and shook her head. We don't want to poison him. Love took the phone from Mike and put it to her ear.

Hello? This is Love. I'm with Mike and a human kid. Uh...he got in a fight with a tiger and now he's not looking to good. I think you need to come get him.

Leo's eyes widen, he wasn't even going to bother asking who the hell Love was. Hearing that he got in a fight with a tiger he knew who that was. We're on our way. stay were you are, we can track you.

With that both Love and Leo hung up Love patted Mike's cheeks to try and keep him awake.

Leo called for the others as he grabbed his gear and got ready to leave.

Mikey barely felt the patting his cheeks and neck all darkened in green with a flush, and he tried to lick his lips with a tongue that felt like carpet in a mouth full of cotton wool.

His vision was even more blurred now.

And he could have sworn Love was purple - now vibrant pink hazed in his vision and Mel looked to have de-aged about ten years - he voice a squeak like those of chipmunks.

What the fuck...? his expression was one of confusion.

" Well we gotta do something he can't wait forever." Mel pointed out as she took off the cap on the bottle to try to get Mikey to drink the clear liquid it didn't have the scent of antiseptic or alcohol so she had that going for her at least. She tried to press the the bottle to the turtle's mouth to get him to drink some of whatever it was.

Now Love was getting pissed at Mel. She slapped the bottle away from Mike and the girl. are you trying to kill him!? Go sit down and stop trying to be useful.

She turned back to Mike. Come on Mike, you have to stay awake. Your family is on their way.

He felt something at his lips - and clamped them shut eyes wide as it looked like to him some spork wielding gnome was trying to feed him mush from said spork.

His protesting noise in his throat dying when the bright pink pigmy puff in his vision slapped it aside.

"Cauldron Bottom." He swore voice rasping.

" Fuck you cat! I'm trying to help and this is what I get fine! I know when I'm not wanted!" Mel yelled as she struggled to get up and used the wall for balance to leave the area. Using the wall she started to limp away now pissed off she didn't deserve to be yelled at and treated like she was gonna kill Mikey. So she did what anyone would do in her situation take off before she was accused of doing something else.

"Noo come back - lil fairiesssssss can't go into the darknessssss!" Mikey grooooooooans out loudly and sort of inelegantly flops to the side grunting - and belching.

Leo's call didn't go unnoticed by the turtle in purple as he stood up from his computer chair and went to his lab door, poking his head out. The way his brother was rushing around, Don knew it wasn't a good sign.

"Leo, what is it?"

And the turtle in orange licked at the wall closest to him... mouth and throat dry...
