Foot Prints [Open to all]

"If you don't mind, I would like to get out of this thing and pick up some cloths. Maybe grab some food."


"Yeah, I think we can manage that." Lexi spared him a grin as she reached for her bag, fishing out the keys to her older model mustang. She grabbed a piece of paper, jotting down a quick note in case Gabriel woke up while they were gone...


"You are sweet to him. I have a feeling he's only alive because of you. You have a motherly air about you. and I mean that in a good way. It's kind and warm. I like it."


Lexi finished up the note and gazed over at Laz, smiling at his 'compliment'. "Yeah. Someone has to look after him." She said, rolling her eyes. Indeed, she was also aware that she was probably the only reason Gabriel was still alive. "He's not a bad person. He just.. has a lot of demons." She told him, but that was probably obvious. "And yeah, I tend to become protective of the people in my life so.. fair warning." She winked at him, blushing ever so slightly. She wasn't really sure of Laz' intentions. If he would pursue something more than a friendship with her. Only time would tell. But if he was sticking around in her life, he would definitely experience her protectiveness, too. Hell, she had even been protective of the Turtle that she knew nothing about. It was just who she was.


Lexi led him out to the car and after they were both situated, pulled Leo's number out of her bag. "I think maybe I should give him a call.. he needs to know that he's being hunted.."

Laz followed Lexi out to her car. He nodded to her when she explained about Gabe. The guy didn't seem so bad, just troubled. He slipped into the car and waited for her. He was eager to get out of his uniform, a uniform that he would probably never wear again. at her warning he gave a smile. I can be pretty protective too. So I understand where you are coming from. But you have to protect yourself too you know. Got to remember to take care of number one. you.

Laz also didn't know where this friendship would go. He would take things slow, if something came out of it then great. Not that he wouldn't try to wine and dine her. Of course he would! For a thug Lexi sure was something special. in fact he heasitaed to even call her a thug, she was just a sweet woman would got caught up in the wrong crowd. Not her fault.

You should let me take you out tomorrow. On a nice date. Anywhere you want to go.

He grinned at her. Sure he was out of a job now, least as far as he knew, but he had a lot in savings so he could afford to take Lexi out on the town.

When she mentioned calling Leo he gave another nod. I'm sure he knows he's being hunted but giving him a call wouldn't hurt.

Lexi was about to dial Leonardo's number, but stopped when Laz asked her to go on a date with him tomorrow night. A small smile stretched across her lips. The guy was handsome and sweet and seemed like an all around good catch...


"Sure.. I would love to go on a date with you." She smiled sweetly. It was time to move on. Start someone, and Laz certainly qualified. " And since you asked me out, I'll let you pick the place." The young woman smiled, feeling like an excited school girl that had been asked out for the first time. Sure, she had plenty of offers since her break up with Gabe, but her heart had been too heavy, and none of them seemed her type. Obviously there was a reason for her holding out.


After a moment, she finally dialed Leonardo's number and waited for him to answer, wondering how she would start off this conversation. Maybe it was best to meet with him in person, if he could find time in his busy ninja schedule...

Laz nodded then started thinking of good places to take her. It would have to be something nice but not too nice, didn't want to come on too strong on the first date, but didn't want to seem uninterested either.

I'll come up with something good. he promised. He then got quiet while she was on the phone.

Leo was suddenly pushed in the chair, he rolled his eyes and sat still in the chair for Don. Then his phone started to ring. He had no idea who it could be, all his family was in the lair. He grabbed his phone and answered it.

Hello. Leo speaking.

He would have never expected in a million years that that woman would actually call him. What a nice surprise this would be.

Mikko changed into a tank top and some jeans. she didn't know when, how or what would happen to her when Shredder put this plan into action. She should have known she would be punished for not bringing in information. She thought too highly of herself. Thought that she was irreplaceable. One of the best. That Saki would soon promote her. Now that didn't seem likely. She was so tempted to find Lexi again and make her give up that number. But now it seemed Laz was protecting the turtles and Lexi.

After getting dressed and fixing her hair, Mikko left her room. She wondered around the tower soon heading into the common area with the rest of the clan. She found herself a seat in the back of the room and plopped down. She was lost in thought as she watched the TV. A court show was on. Nothing she was interested in. It was just noise to her.

Her biggest fear was that she fucked up more then she thought, and that she was going to be hurt or worse. It would make sense. Shredder needed the turtles to come to her rescue. So he had to make it look good. Part of her thought about leaving and hiding. But even though she may be in real danger, she was loyal to Shredder and the Foot. She wouldn't run, if this was the job Shredder was giving her, she would see it through.

Lexi was half-expecting that Leonardo wouldn't pick up. He probably had important turtle things to do, after all. But then he did and that fact brought a smile to her face. It was really him. The turtle. Well, one of them, anyway.


"Hey Leo, this is Lexi.. you gave me your number tonight..." She blinked at her own comment. How many girls did she really think the guy had given his number to? Duh. Of course he would remember her... hopefully. "I have some things that I really need to tell you. It's important. So, I was wondering if you could meet me somewhere? Or, I can come to you..."


She gave Laz a look, wondering if he would be up for meeting with the Turtle. She would just feel better if she could talk to him in person....

When Leo heard Lexi's voice he smiled brightly. He pulled the phone away from his mouth for a second and whispered to the others. It's her. Of course they wouldn't know who he was talking about. But he was excited. She actually called him! He was like a young school boy getting a text from his crush.

Yeah I can meet you somewhere. It'll just be you right? He didn't mean to come off sounding creepy. It was just he didn't want this to be some kind of trap. He didn't really know Lexi and even though he thought she was the most beautiful human he ever seen, he still had to be careful.

It's just uh...I don't do so well in large groups you know.

Even though Don didn't see any visible wounds on his eldest brother, other than a scratch on his cheek, Don still wanted to give him a check up.  Raph had long ago vacated the spot and pushed Leo into it.  Don rolled his eyes.

"Was that really necessary?" he asked his brother in red then shook his head.

After a brief checkup, Don conceded that there was nothing else wrong and he let his brother go.  Then Leo's phone rang and Don wondered who it was.  The rarely gave out their numbers to anyone.  When Leo mentioned it was 'her', then Don became suspicious.

"Who's 'her', Leo?"

Lexi was surprised that the mutant was so willing to meet up with her. He was trusting, and for that she was grateful for otherwise this would have been a lot harder. She looked at Laz, giving him a thumbs up, then returned her attention to the phone.


"Great! Where should we meet?" She asked, figuring it would be someplace extra private. He would be careful, that much she was certain of.


"I'll have someone with me, but just one person.. I promise. Apparently he met you tonight, too. But you don't have to worry about him. He's on your side. He even has the 'termination' to prove it."

Leo held a finger up to Don and frowned a little when he heard someone would be with her. and it was even more upsetting to hear this other person was a guy. Maybe she already had a boyfriend. Yeah that was probably it. It was stupid to think she would want to be with him. But then why call? Was she in trouble? Or was it really a set up. Now he wasn't too sure.

The rooftop of the forest hill apartments. he told her. He would still meet up with her Just in case it was something important. But then again, why couldn't she tell him over the phone?

I'll br bringing someone too. he finally said. Better to be safe then sorry. Maybe it was a mistake giving the pretty woman his number.

Having no idea what was going through the Blue-clad Turtle's head, or that he was having second thoughts, Lexi smiled. The fact that he was bringing someone added to the excitement. Maybe she would get to see 'the Easter Bunny', or another one of his brothers.. if he had more than one.Then it registered why he would feel the need to bring someone..


"I promise I'm not trying to hurt you...far from it. But, I don't blame you. You need to be careful.." She told him, knowing that he obviously already understood that.


[color=cyan]"We will be there in fifteen." She promised. "See you soon, Leo." With that she hung up and looked at Laz as she started the engine. "He's willing to meet.. and he's bringing someone."

I know you're not. But i don't know who the person is that's going to be with you. I would feel better if i brought someone with me. See you soon. Leo hung up then pushed himself from the chair. I have to meet up with a friend of mine, well, not really a friend, I just met her. But she could become a friend. Leo looked at Don. Would you want to come met her?

He would have asked the other two, but Raph was too judgmental and Mike was way too hyper when it came to meeting new people. Don would be calm and not start screaming in her face as soon as he seen her.

I'm heading out now if you're coming.

great the turtle was bringing someone. Probably someone who would want to kick his ass. And what was worse he was still in the foot uniform. Think we have time for me to change first? The last thing I want is to incounter an angry turtle.

Honestly Laz wasn't thrilled about meeting any of the turtles right now. But if that's what Lexi wanted to do he wouldn't abandon her. What Laz really wanted to do was get naked and go to sleep.

Hopefully he doesn't bring all his brothers.

Oh, Don could go on and on about how bad of an idea this was to go meet some stranger he met on the street, but he knew it wouldn't do any good. It appeared Leo had made his mind up already on going. But at least he wasn't going alone.

However, Leo asking him to go along did surprise him. But he wasn't going to complain about it. It wouldn't do any good, and at least Leo didn't want to go alone. He wanted some back up with him and that was definitely the best choice. With a small smile and a nod, he agreed.

"Alright, Leo. I'll go with you."

Thanks Don. I would go alone, but she is bringing a friend with her to meet me. I feel I can trust her, but i don't know who this friend is. Leo explained. She's meeting us now. So as soon as you are ready we'll head out.

Leo left the room and headed to the main living area. He was unsure if he should tell the others where Don and him were going, but if something did happen to go wrong his brothers would have to know where to start looking for them.

Don and I are heading out to meet up with a friend. We'll be back soon. We're not going far.Leo told Raph and Mike. He then told them where they would be and that he would call if there was trouble. He doubt that there would be trouble, but, there was many enemies out there so it was best to play it safe.

with all that out of the way Leo finally had time to let the butterflies flap around his stomach. He was going to meet the girl again! He knew it was foolish to think this woman, this, human would want anything from him, friendship or otherwise. But it was exciting enough that she actually called him and wanted to meet. Leo realized that this was his first crush ever! He had to down play it though, he didn't need to hear it from his brothers, especially Raph. Maybe after they talk about what ever it is she wanted to tell him they could speak privately and Leo could ask her to join him for a bit to eat some night. Or something...A date? Would she agree? Gah! He was thinking too much!

Don! you about ready?

"Since when do you have friends, Leo? And how come I haven't met them yet?" Michelangelo perked up at the word 'friend'. It is rare that Leo have friends. It is rare that any of them have friends other then Casey, April and Angel. Then he remembered...his Turtle Titan costume needed to be modified, anyway. He had plans on redesigning it. Making the material more flexible and giving it a whole new look.

"If things get hairy out there, you know who to call, right?" With those words, Michelangelo headed to the bedroom. An orange tabby brushed aside him, purring and rubbing her body against him. Mike would love to hold Klunk, but at the moment he is preoccupied with the costume. He really hoped the bugs that frequently crawled around the place didn't destroy it.

Mike admit that he isn't really neat when it comes to keeping his room tidy. Splinter always scolded him for leaving boxes of leftover pizza trays everywhere. His comics were laying strewn on the floor. He'll worry about cleaning it later, however he later regretted it. He couldn't find that costume anywhere. I hope Raph didn't burn it...

Laz was such a trooper. The guy was so willing to go along with anything, even if it meant meeting up with not one, but possibly two turtles. She spared him a smile and reached over to playfully ruffle his hair before pulling away from the curb and hitting the main road...


"Think we have time for me to change first? The last thing I want is to incounter an angry turtle."


"Yeah, we can do that." Lexi told him. "So where do you live?" She asked, interested in seeing where this wonderful guy called home. She was also excited that she would be meeting up with Leonardo tonight, and possibly his brother?


"Hopefully he doesn't bring all his brothers."


Well that certainly got Lexi's attention. " Brothers? You mean there's more than two of them?"

Raphael plopped down on the couch an snagged the remote, flipping through the channels until he found a 'Friday the 13th' marathon. That's what he loved about October. You usually didn't have to search too hard to get your horror flick fix. The red-banded Turtle just rolled his eyes as his little brother continued to rattle on about Turtle Titan, then mentioned that if he got lucky, he might meet his 'Cat-woman'. Okay, so that was slightly amusing.


Before he could comment, Leo came into the den, seeming really excited about something, then he mentioned.. a friend? The bad-boy gave his brother a look of disbelief, and snorted at Mike's comment. Hell, he was thinking the same thing. "You don't have friends, Leo." Raph snorted, gaze never leaving the gruesome imagery that graced their unimpressive television set. Still, whatever Leo was up to had him curious. His brother had given him the location. Maybe he would go spy. Maybe.


"Yeah, whatever." He told his brother, seeming indifferent. "Does yer imaginary friend have a name?"

Shredder sure as hell was taking his sweet time. Sliding down against the wall, Junko rest her chin on her hands, tucking her knees under her chin, trying to absorb the information. So far, everything that has happened had been nothing but disappointment. The Shredder has proven to be a difficult target to toy with. He definitely wasn't impressed, however she did managed to gain his interest, which is a start. When they were alone in that throne room of his (the thought made her roll her eyes), she didn't expect him to agree with her requests, even though they were small ones.

A part of her felt disappointed that the Shredder is none other then the ruthless businessman known as Oroku Saki. The kunoichi had never been impressed with the classy, rich, uppercrust since they usually look down on people like her, but the moment when he revealed himself it sent a shiver down her spine. He wasn't more then just bad looking and certainly wasn't boring...he was...she hate to say it, kind of hot. Her stomach churned at the thought and tried to fight the bile that rose in her throat. Ninjas are good actors. Saki is a master at it. He could've had any woman he would've wanted with the way he looked. The city had been completely fooled by this man's charm. They have no clue who he truly is.

Junko's body ached from the brawl earlier, but now is not the time to complain. It looks like she is going to have muster as much ruthless if she wanted to live. A part of her felt guilty, although she had no clue why. Her job is not to feel guilty, her job is to feel excited. Ninjas thirst for the blood of their enemies. They are not supposed to worry over petty things like morals. This is just another obstacle and like all obstacles, they can be conquered. All she has to do is play Saki's game. Get him to earn her trust, to prove that she is loyal to him.

The question is, how, though? How will she prove to Shredder that she is as good as her word?

Her name is Lexi. Leo tole Raph with a smile. Don and I are going to meet up with her, I would have asked you but i didn't need you interrogating her. Leo leaned against the wall as he waited for Don to get ready. He wondered where Mike had run off to, hopefully not to get that stupid costume.

She's really pretty. and she seems sweet. he went on to say, mostly to himself.

Leo was going through in his head all the things he would talk about with her. He needed to come up with good conversation, he didn't want to bore her. Of course she had called because she wanted to tell him something. Something so important it had to be said in person. He was eager to find out what is was she needed to tell him. Don was taking forever!

Laz gave her directions on where he lived. It wasn't too far from where they were and he wouldn't take long changing and gathering his things. He just hoped that no one was waiting for him when they got there. It's a small apartment. The foot don't pay that much. I could have lived in the tower, but there was too many rules that had to be followed. I'm surprise that Mikko can live there.

At her question he nodded his head. There's four of them and a rat. I never seen the rat myself but I have encountered the four turtles before. They are great fighters. For their size they can move fast. They are very secretive so I'm surprise one of them gave you his number. I'm also surprise they have phones.

Lexi also considered the possibility of someone waiting for her new friend back at his place, so she would be prepared for an ambush. Hopefully this would be easy but she knew few things in life were ever that way. She gingerly touched the pistol that was strapped to her thigh, making sure that it was still there. Funny how you get so used to the feel of something and it almost becomes a part of you. Thankfully she had placed it back into its holster after pulling it on Mikko. She was also thankful that she didn't shoot the woman, but she wouldn't hesitate to defend her life or that of her friends.

The young woman gave a light shrug when he mentioned that his place wasn't anything spectacular. "Hey.. I'm not one to judge someone for where they live. I mean, you see my place." Indeed, it was nothing special, but she knew it could be worse. She was struggling, but at least her place was clean and warm and for the most part, safe. As safe as it could be when you're affiliated with the Dragons. Lexi clung to the hope that someday she would do more than simply survive. Someday things would be easier. Someday.. she would do something that mattered.


Soon they were pulling up to Laz' place, and she listened as he told her about the Turtles. So, there were more than just Leonardo and The Easter Bunny. His comment about the phones earned a soft chuckle. "C'mon, Laz. Even four year olds have phones these days... of course they have them." She teased. In a world where phone plans could be purchased and paid for online, it didn't seem impossible. Though, it did make her curious as to how they made income to pay for such things. All questions for another day...

It didn't take Don long to get ready and soon he was by Leo's side. He heard his explanation about this friend, but to Don, it seemed like there was possibly something more behind it. Don couldn't be sure, but it sounded like Leo had a crush on this person.

He would ask about it later. For now, it was enough that Leo wasn't foolish enough to go on his own. Especially with this other person this...Lexi person was bringing. All geared up, he took Leo's arm, leading him out the Lair's exit.

"Come on, Romeo. Let's go meet this Juliet."

Finally Don was ready. He rolled his eyes at his brother's comment. It wasn't like that, yet. with any luck though maybe he could get closer to the woman. Of course those were just dreams. Lexi could probably be with any guy she wanted, so why would she want to be with a turtle?

Leo left the lair with Don and hurried to the surface. He was excited and nervous. Though most of the nervousness came from not knowing who she was bringing with her. He really wished this was a one on one meeting. At least he knew Don wouldn't embarass him.

I think you're going to like her. I mean I don't know much about her yet, but maybe that can change.
