Foot Prints [Open to all]

Indeed, the wait wasn't too long before Leo met up with his...date.  He could tell the way Leo looked at her that his brother had a major crush on this girl.  It was so apparent now.  Before it was just speculation with the way Leo talked about her.

Being polite, Don raised his hand in a small wave and gave the girl a smile. "Hello."  Then he looked up at the girl's companion and gave him a small nod in return.  "Oh, I'm just here to make sure my brother stays out of trouble," he joked lightly, shaking his head.  "I assume you're doing the same with your friend?"

Of course, this guy could have been Lexi's boyfriend for all Don knew.  But it didn't exactly look like either of the other two were paying attention to the 'third' and 'fourth wheels' anymore.  "I'm Donatello," he introduced himself with a small wave to the man.

It didn't take Lexi long to spot the two large Turtles. She glanced in Donatello's direction, quickly noticing that he wasn't 'the red one' that she had initially met a few months ago. This brother was a smaller build, though he was certainly tall. Before she could completely take him in, Leo walked toward her, momentarily blocking the other Turtle from her view. She returned Leo's smile, glad to see him again. Even if her reason for meeting with him was reasons of concern, it didn't mean she wasn't happy for this opportunity and the fact that he had been willing to do so. For her. Such secretive creatures they were, and for good reason. And the Leader chose to trust her. To say that it was flattering would be an understatement.



"Hey, Leonardo." She greeted, feeding her curiosity by allowing her eyes to once again take him in. Their meeting in the alley had been too brief, but now there was no rush. Unlike most women that Leo and his brothers had come into contact with, she didn't find him scary or repulsive. Intimidating, yes. Well, the red one was, anyway. Leo seemed to have a gentleness about him, and he didn't seem the least bit annoyed about being asked to meet up. In fact he seemed... happy. Maybe the guy was just glad to have interaction with a human, she wasn't really sure. But his enthusiasm was cute.


"It's good to see you, too." She told him with sincerity in her tone. Man, how she hated to bring out the 'heavy' and tell him of why she had requested his presence. But first, she peeped around him just in time to catch The Purple one's wave, and returned it with a smile. He was standing at a distance, so she had missed Don's introduction to Laz. She then gave a nod in Laz' direction.


"That's Lazarus... he's my friend." She told him, wondering if he would know the guy since he was most likely wearing his mask whenever the Turtles had a run in with him. She then glanced in Donnie's direction once again, now having a better view of him.. the guy looked like 'Robo Turtle' with all of that equipment. "I'm guessing that's one of your brothers?" Well, that much was obvious but it was never nice to assume....

Even though Raphael was slightly annoyed that he would have to bring Mike along in order to keep the little squirt out of trouble, at least he lost the embarrassing costume. Small victories. Though, it was a bit comical watching the klutz peel out of the skin-sight suit. The display earned a massive eye roll from the beast of a Turtle, and he groaned as his youngest brother quoted 'Fearless'.


"C'mon... and try to keep up.." Raph snorted as he headed out of his brother's bedroom. Soon they were heading through the tunnels that would deliver them to the nearest man hole cover. "And don't blow our cover... got it?" He warned, giving Mike a stern glare. He knew that his little brother was incapable of being quiet for long periods of time. And if a girl was involved, that would only increase the likelihood of Motor Mouth blowing their cover...

Mikey pantomimed a zipper, tossing an imaginary key behind his shoulder, following Raphael down the tunnels. After some time walking, they finally reached a ladder. Mikey climbed up the ladder and pushed the manhole cover open. Making sure the coast was clear, he pulled himself up then dove into the darkest spot he can find. He waited for his brother to climb out of the manhole.

Leo stood there with a smile on his face for a bit before he realized they were making introductions. He snapped to and motioned over to Don. This is my brother, Donatello. we just call him Donnie. and you can just call me Leo.

Leo went on to say more but it was Laz who was next to speak up. I don't want to alarm anyone. But we are being watched.

That was news Leo did not want to hear. He had been so lost in his own excitement that he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings. He looked around the roof top but didn't see anyone, though he knew from expierence that that didn't mean much. Leo glanced over at Don, the tension filling the air. Were they being followed? Did Laz know they were being followed? Or were he and Don being followed and he just failed to take notice?

Who ever it is better come out of hiding and show themselves.

So she had been caught. that guy was good, maybe he had a third eye or something. She stood hidden behind a large vent. I don't wanna come out tortue homme. she said in a small voice. I'm not good with people. It was mostly true. Fact was she noticed the weapons on the turtles and wanted nothing to do with that. She just wanted to rob the humans and move on with her night.

Don hadn't been paying much attention to their would-be stalker -- nor had he heard her coming up behind them. He was focusing on the meeting between Leo and Lexi. Then he met Laz. He seemed alright as a person, as far as Don could tell.

When Laz pointed out someone was watching them and then Leo looked over at him, he pulled out his Bo, scanning the area. Now he could feel it. He didn't know where it was coming from, but he sensed another presence other than these two.

Finally, a voice came out from somewhere next to them. Instead of going on the defense and demanding for the person to show themselves, considering they seemed afraid to do so, so Don kept a calm voice but still had his weapon out.

"We're not going to hurt you. Just come out so we can see you."

Once confirming that the coast was clear, Raphael cleared the manhole and also dodged into the nearby shadows. At least this area was unaffected by the earlier happenings, and while the adrenaline was still pumping and Raph was itching to bust some more heads, he also wanted this 'mission' to go as smoothly as possible. Fat chance, considering that Mikey was tagging along.


The two moved through the shadows and in the direction of the location that Leo had given them, but Raphael chose to keep a distance, climbing a nearby building opposite of the one his two other brothers were occupying. Ducking behind a large air vent, he glance in the other building's direction. He could see Leo, Donnie.. and two humans. He squinted to get a better look and quickly recognized the girl. He had 'confronted' her after interfering with a robbery executed by her gang. The woman hadn't been responsible for breaking into the jewelry store, but she had been driving the get way car. Did his little talk work? She wasn't with the bozos that she had been with that night. No. There was a different guy. And while Laz had been wearing a mask during their earlier meeting, there was something oddly familiar about him. His height and posture.


"Well, what'do'ya know. Leo wasn't makin' her up.." The Hot-Head told his brother, watching on in mild amusement. Leo under the influence of having a crush. God. The guy was a dork. But then the mood seemed to change. Introductions and whatever the girl had brought them there for was now being put on the back burner for now. There seemed to be an unwelcomed guest. Raphael drew his weapons, ready to blow their cover if need be. His family's safety was more important than staying on the down low and getting the dirt...

Lexi was about to introduce herself to Donnie, but then Laz spoke up, informing them that they weren't alone. It seemed that they had all been too caught up in this meeting and had been unaware of their surroundings, except Laz. It was a damn good thing she had brought him along! His level of awareness was impressive to her, but she couldn't think too deeply into that now. Right now all she could think about was that she hadn't warned them in time. Mikko had found them. Not that she thought the woman could take down the Turtles, but if she used her trickery, someone could get hurt.


Expecting the worst, Lexi pulled the pistol that rested in the holster strapped to her thigh, preparing to fight if this person had ill intentions. Then came the soft voice and any speculation that it was Mikko quickly went out the window. The person claimed not to be good with people, yet she had spoken. So obviously a part of her wanted to be known.


Of course none of this would go smoothly.. why would it?!?

For once, Mikey managed to keep his mouth shut. Well, of course he kept quiet, Mikey is trying to use as much stealth as he possibly can, until they reached a nearby building. Mikey was only going by the directions Leo had instructed them. Well, instructed Raph.

Raph ducked behind an air vent. He didn't want to get caught. Who knows what will happen if Leo catches Raph and Mikey following them? Most likely Raph would blame him. Mikey rolled his eyes at the thought. He kept trying to stretch his neck, to see what is happening. All he could see is Leo and Don talking to two humans. And...is that a girl with them? Mikey wanted to get a closer look, but Raph was blocking his path.

"Let me see! Let me see!" Mikey demanded. All of a sudden Raph drew his weapons. Following his brother's gaze, his brothers did the same. They were in a fighting stance. Leo and Don were talking to the guy and the girl for a moment, but it seems like they were interrupted by a mysterious visitor. Mikey cursed. How could he possibly had forgotten about his nunchucks? He just had to play super hero.

Great now their weapons were out. and not only that but the woman had a gun! She had a gun!? thank the gods she didn't attack the humans as planed. Now she really didn't want to come out. But the seeing the turtles made her curious, and you know what they said,curiosity killed the cat.

She has a gun. I don't want to be shot.

Laz came in and lowered Lexi's hand. No one is going to shoot you. I promise.

Well they seemed nice enough. and the humans were meeting up with other mutants so obviously they weren't mutant haters. Finally Love came out into the open and walked up to them. Her fluffy tail swaying behind her. She gave a small wave and smiled a toothy grin.

I'm Loventrice. But you can call me Love.

Leo put his weapons away and folded his arms waiting for the girl to come out. He expected some human, maybe a street girl who parkored or something. He did not expect a mutant cat to walk out from behind the large vent. There was a light on the roof that she was standing next to so he could see her pretty well. She was short, thin, furry, but not the usual colors of a cat. And she had jewels in her face that hit the light just so and shined.

Leo got in front of everyone as to protect them if this was some trap.

I am Leonardo. This is a private meeting. what do you want?

Leo glanced back at the others. this was just great. He wanted to get to know Lexi better. He wanted to talk with her just the two of them. Maybe even express his liking of her. But there was just so many others here. and the this new girl.

Love shuffled her feet on the ground and kicked at a rock. I...uh...live up here.

Lexi wasn't about to lower her guard, but hearing that the cat woman was afraid of being shot, coupled with Laz pushing her gun down, she sighed deeply and decided to put the pistol away. Still, she was on high alert and was suspicious of the newcomer. How did they just so happen to meet up on the roof she lived on? Was she up to something? Did she work with Mikko and had come to hurt the Turtles?


It really sucked that she would get interrupted before having a chance to even speak with Leo, and now she wasn't sure if that opportunity would even exist tonight. Not before all hell broke loose. That was, if little Frisky here decided to show her claws.

Raphael was prepared to blow his cover, but now it seemed that things were calming down. Everyone lowered their weapons, and then out stepped a... mutant cat? What the hell! Just then, Mike started yapping about wanting to see. Groaning in irritation, Raph slid over just enough so he could see what was going on, but prepared to smack him one if he commented too loudly.


"Guess we're not the only mutants in this city, after all.." Whether that was a good or bad thing remained to be seen.


A cat. Why did it have to be a cat? It would certainly make Mike happy, though. Being the cat lover that he is. "She looks like yer type." He snorted, giving his bro a light jab with his elbow.

Of all the people that could have been hiding behind that vent, Don didn't expect it to be another mutant.  Another mutant?  Don was quite fascinated by that fact.  And...perhaps a little taken back by her appearance.  She was...a very beautiful cat...woman.  Cat-woman.

Don finally stopped staring and met eyes with the cat woman and smiled softly. "Hi."  He resheathed his Bo Staff and approached her slowly.  "What can we do for you?"  Even though she didn't look threatening, Don wouldn't let his guard down completely.

"My name is Donatello."

clearly she was interrupting  something here, but these people seemed cool and the turtles were cute. Well the purple one anyway. The blue one looked like some scary puppet from chucky cheese. Love smiled at Don and perked her ears up.

Hi Donnie! Nice to meet you. She held out her hand to shake. Not everyday I get to meet a cute turtle like you.

She looked at everyone and bit her bottom lip. I'm just looking for some food. and someplace safe to hide

Don blinked at the compliment and he couldn't help a small blush that covered his cheeks.  No one had ever considered him cute before.  Granted this wasn't a human girl and clearly she wasn't afraid of him.  That was certainly a plus.

"Well...thank you.  And nice to meet you, too."

He reached his hand out to shake hers gently then let it go.  His eyes traveled to her very furry hand.  It was so soft.  He was still smiling until she told him what she wanted.  Then his thoughts immediately shifted to concern for her and he frowned deeply.  "Is someone after you?" he asked her, meeting her eyes again.

...yeah. It was looking more like an opportunity wasn't going to present itself. But how could Lexi know this would all be a waste of time? Everyone was distracted with the new mutant, and tonight wasn't getting any younger. Sighing deeply, Lexi looked at Laz. "I guess we should just go." Because naturally the other mutant would keep the guys busy.

"There's a new mutant?" Mikey nearly made the same mistake twice. Eagerly, he stuck out his head and noticed it was a...cat mutant? A female cat mutant! Mikey started bouncing and said, a little more louder then usual, "I wonder if she knows how to play chop sticks."

Mikey rubbed the place where Raph had elbowed him and grinned. He was still bouncing up and down in excitement. A cat mutant...a real live cat mutant...why wasn't there a ball of catnip yarn when you need it?

Leo wasn't very interested in the new mutant. Though when she said she needed a place to hide started to worry. was someone after her? did they follow her up there? So many questions. then he heard Lexi and quickly turned to her.

No don't go. We can talk over here in private. he said and led her to the other side of the building. Laz didn't bother to follow, if Leo wanted to talk one on one that was fine.

Once they were out of ear shot Leo smiled at her again. You uh...You know....You look...nice tonight. he manged to compliment. What was it you had to tell me?

Love saw an opportunity here. Maybe these turtles had a place to live. Somewhere warm, safe maybe. And maybe she could flirt her way into their home. Love reached out and grabbed Don's hands and held them close to her chest. A man name Bishop. The scientist that did this too me. I think he may be looking for me. she told him.

And i have not eaten in days. I don't know the streets well, I'm new here. I moved here when I was still human. And soon after I was tricked into becoming a mutant.

And it seemed Laz wasn't even going to answer. Not only had she been robbed of introducing herself to the other Turtle, but now she was feeling completely invisible. She started for the fire escape but it seemed Leo remembered that she existed. Soon she was being tugged to the far side of the building, then came his compliment that eased some of the rejection that she had just been feeling. It even earned a little smile.


"Aw, thank you." She told him, blushing slightly. Then he asked what she wanted to talk to him about, and it reminded her. There was a reason for being here. "I just wanted to warn you that you and your brothers are being hunted..." She began. "A crazy woman named Mikko found out that I had your number through a person that I thought was my friend. She tried to force me to give it to her, but I wouldn't.." And that would probably cost her her life...

Good his complement was well recived she didn't laugh at him. But things soon for serious when she informed him that some girl found out about the number. Lexi didn't give it up though and for that he was grateful.

We're hunted by a lot of crazy people. It comes with being what we are. But thank you. I knew when I first saw you that you were a trustworthy person. I'm glad that I was right. Can...Can i ask a personal question? Are you and Laz dating?

as soon as he asked he wished he hadn't I'm sorry it's none of my business. it's just. I was wondering if you would like to grab a bite to eat with me....say...tomorrow night?

Laz wasn't ignoring Lexi. But he knew her and Leo needed to talk and wouldn't get in between them. He could wait on the side for them to finish, he had all night to get to know her sense he would be moving in with her for a time. Plus he was pretty interested in this cat woman. She seemed to have her eyes on Don. But he wasn't so sure if Don should trust her.

He stuck his hands in his pocket and waited for when he was needed again.

Don listened carefully to every word she said. It sounded like she was dealt a very cruel hand in this life. "That's terrible," he said, shaking his head. He couldn't help but feel sorry for her. But, he still had to keep his head on the matter and not fall for any possible traps this woman laid. He didn't know her well enough to just take her in and let her stay in the lair. Even though he really wanted to.

He kept telling himself that he could provide the bare minimum for her right now. He could find her a place to stay and a decent meal. But, that would be all until he found out for sure about her true intentions. He hated to think this was all just a lie to get some attention from them. From him. But, he still had some questions for her, so he would get those out of the way first.

"How long have you been a mutant and how were you tricked into becoming one?"
