I, Zombie [Tag: Everyone]

"Target ahead!"

The van plowed through a mob of the infected.

"At five meters open the door." Hank told Anya. She nodded and braced herself because the moment Hank had a hold of Stockman their target and yanked him into the van she would have to close the door.

They closed in tyres actually screeeeeeeching in protest their driver threw the van into a wide half donut -

Anya slamming the door open as the van and the side of the car their target had climbed into rattling both vehicles with the force but Hank paid no heed he broke the passenger side window and reached in grabbing the tall dark scientist by under his arms and pulled back wards dragging the man into their van.

"Anya grab his stuff on the seat." He adds as he gets both himself and Baxter out of the way.

His team member was quick gathering the items and placing them on a seat, and then she slid the van door shut and they set off again with a few loud bumps.

"Baxter Stockman." Hank put the man into a seat - but did not unmask himself yet.

"Damn zombies!"

The masked vigilante began batting at random walkers, with their arms out and mouths agape. Their maw was ready to start chewing on his muscled flesh but he was just as vicious as they were. That was the thing about Casey Jones. Most of the time he could be just as bad, if not worse, than the monsters the family often fought off. But he considered it 'necessary roughness'. Some bad guys would never conform long enough to follow the rules.

That's when you bring out the equalizer. For Casey, that was his trusty aluminum bat he swiped from a local hometown baseball game. Nobodies. Just a bunch of posers trying to get big league. The hockey mask-wearing psychopath, who wasn't a maggot-infested zombie killer, began bashing heads in and body-checking corpses out of his way. They needed to get out of the streets. This was bad news for all of them. He glanced over his shoulder.

He wanted to be sure everyone was still with him and no one was bit. However, as he turned his head one popped out from an alleyway and decided he wanted a little forearm meatloaf. Casey reacted with just enough time to force the monster back into a wall and proceeded to bash his decayed face in with the bat, blood decorating his once-pearly white hockey mask. It had marks, scuffs and scathing here and there. But nothing to this degree.

This was fun!

Everything happen so quickly. First he was sitting quietly in his car then he was being pulled out by some unknown. Once he was seated in another car he looked around to see what the hell had just happen. Finally one of the men spoke. Good to know these guys weren't one of the undead at least.

yes? He was unsure if he should admit who he was.

I don't know who you people are, but I assure you I had nothing to do with what's happening in the city. So if you could be so kind as to being me to my lab so i can try and fix this that would be lovely.

April guessed Casey was enjoying himself immensely - the battling, the rush...

And usually when out in a fight like this April did too admittedly feel the thrill of adrenaline.

But right now it was also mixed with fear and she pushed on and Casey fought covering them, she made it to the man hole cover and yanks it up. "Mel get down in here now, and keep your voice down - no more shouting." She hissed at the girl, if not for her yelling and that damn mutant tigers roar the walkers might have missed them entirely!!

Angel too seemed to be thrilling the battle - and April did not want to know what the brunette girl Erica was up too. "Come on you all!" She adds in a urgent hiss if they could get down under ground...

She worried for Raph...

And now the fight was on! Angel showed just how much she had learned and grew on her eighteen month sabbatical lost to the wide world - of course most of the people she battled then where in fact alive...

covering April and Mel as they moved and watching Casey's back the tall young woman heard April whispering, telling Mel off and then urging herself, Erica and Casey after them!

Angel nods and move not having needed to fire just yet the weapon, using a random object she'd found on the run - a piece of metal pipe as her weapon.

Oh, Raphael had definitely brought along the small backpack that Erica had so graciously given him. He would have to thank the girl later. He had failed to do so earlier since his mind was solely on the looming threats and knowing that he had to find Tiger Claw before the oversized pussy found the group.


The mutant feline was a formidable foe, but Raphael was confident that he could take him. It was an added bonus that he could do so, safely away from the others. Raph could be over confident at times, but he had taken into consideration that the cold would slow him down, and being too close would enable the furry beast to claim a helpless prize..


Glaring daggers at the feline, sais poised at his side, adrenaline pumping and buffering the sting of the cold. Nostrils flaring with each icy exhale, his glare pierced into his enemy. The Tiger's roars seriously got under his shell! Was he for real?! All that noise would draw attention to them, but he was certain that was the tiger's intent. However, it was his taunting that cut into him like the jagged blade of a serrated knife. An angry growl forced through gritted teeth as he quickly lunged forward, weapons aimed for the bounty hunter's sensitive neck...

Moving with the others Erica dodged being grabbed by outstretched arms not making a sound - too presently freaked to do much more than note as they moved though this ally the splashing of sloshie watery melted patches of the snows about them.

Not bothering to answer April just urge Mel down, "hurry!" she whispers.

" Well sorry that a damn roar surprised the hell out of me." Mel growled sarcastically as she climbed down the ladder into the freezing cold sewer as fast as she could. The cold sewer water sent a shock right into her recovering body which forced her to hiss in pain and lean against the wall in the sewer away from the wall.

Hank removed the 'helmet' of his suit meeting the eyes of this Baxter Stockman, listening to him talk as the van hit through a few walking abominations skidding around a corner - they would circle the location of the hidden laboratory where their other possible target escaped and see if from the van they could make out a possible trail - then Hank would have his team split - two to take Baxter to Bishop and the rest after the mutant on the loose. "Whom we are does not matter." He answers not to give this man anything.

Ha though he knew his own daughter Erica Martins had no doubt been directed towards this man before this crap as a possible intern giving her incredible grades in Biological Sciences.

"There is no assumption you are guilty of this mess, in fact whom we are taking you to requires your aid in cleaning the mess up." Hank went on and wondered if being such a high ranking and also Foot involved would have heard anything about the Earth Protection Force and Agent Bishop? But he would not give names unless the scientist pushes for them.

"It shocked all of us." Erica told Mel as the girl climbs down bending herself -

pausing noting from here the smell on the ground... not the sewer smell.... no the rank smell of the walking infected.... but fuel....

her eyes saw the source a turned over on it's side - earlier no doubt in the rush.... or an accident - perhaps the driver was now among those coming at them?

But what struck Erica was the smell.... and the piles of rubbish and misc alley left overs.... the crowding of the walkers coming at the group... She stands and moves, "April go down with Mel," She moves back towards Angel and Casey, "Casey, Angel get below.... theres fuel all over the ground - I'm going to ignite it." She did not know if her suit would protect her against a fire. "Go, come on!" She did not know Casey was enjoying himself - that in a way Angel was too, but her main priorty was helping ensure they got below ground and took out as many of these in the alley as they could...

Splinter had a feeling when his sons were all here and their human friends he'd need to lay down some rules for having refugees in the Lair..

Maybe even not in the lair itself, maybe time to find other abandoned places to help those they could!

Hmmmm.

"When Raphael is home my sons we will need to have a Clan meeting." The situation was dire by the sounds of it, if this cat lady was to be believed, though Splinter will wait on a clan meeting and hear about the full state of things from his usually rogue son April, Casey and the returned Angel.

He had been readying himself for such an attack, even though the rush of the big turtles speed surprised him enough that be barely reacted in time!

Sidestepping the youths frontal lunger his own claws raking for the large reptilian boys shoulders! Feeling the force of the turtles first rush, his own strike also missing their mark scraping off the natural body armour the turtle possessed where a normal humans pec would be. His dodge had three outcomes, the first it saved him barely from being arterially opened up like a water sprinkler of red! and it gave him the room to make a further jibe about the turtles company, well the females... That red haired one... looks like she'd put up a fight..."in a leering tone.

And lastly the dodge took him in the direction the group left, if he could move this way as they fought perhaps he could track them and when the turtle was done... or he faked off defeat he could resume tailing them. "Even if fighting would be futile..." a deep growl- then roar lunging an attack himself on the youth, a flurry of kicks, claws here also extended looking for tough turtle hide!

Need my help uh? I assume you are from the government. Fine way to ask for help, kidnapping people out of their cars. Though I suppose things could be worse. You could have been one of those things. Exactly who, may I ask, will I be working with?

Not for, with. Baxter did not feel like being some underling to some government asshole. But the fact that he was sought after did make him feel a bit important. Of course he could fix this mess, as soon as he figured out what started it.

Hank was rather amused, the man had to know he was really in no state to complain about the method of 'employment' as it were, mostly because he would have been surrounded in moments had they not retrieved him.

"Agent Bishop." He answers finally waiting for the name to sink in.

He did not have to glance at his fellow ghosts he could hear the talk in the ear pieces - no Phoenix in sight.

Casey had just curb-stomped one of the flesh eaters across the cold, hard pavement of these violent streets when he glanced over his shoulder. April, Mel and the others were finally getting below ground after discovering a manhole and descending into a very familiar place: the sewers. The vigilante turned his attention back to the walking dead as they lurched forward, moaning and groaning. Casey shrugged his shoulders and sarcastically remarked, "Hey, 'til you losers have worked a full week at th' dump then you can start groanin'!"

But his fun was cut short as the quipping crime-fighter was beckoned by Erica. Casey tagged Angel and he sprinted over to their newest ally as she described her big plan. The hint of fuel attacked his nostrils as the vigilante gave a nod to Erica and shrugged at Angel. "Sounds like a plan, sweetheart! Just... Ya know, make it back in one piece.", he attempted to make her vow. Casey jerked his head toward the manhole as he stared at Angel and he booked it. He began his descent into familiar territory. The uninviting smells and stench was still better than up above.

He landed on both feet as his eyes scanned over everyone that was present, no heads missing. That was a good thing. Casey folded his arms over his chest and cocked his head to the side. "Erica's still up there. She's got a plan... Trust me," he assured with confidence.

" Hopefully whatever it is she does it quick the cold is going right through me and the sewer water isn't helping." Mel told them feeling her strength being sapped again which was making it harder to stay warmed up as she shivered violently against the wall. She had no idea where they were going and even if she did she still needed help to get there.

Nodding Angel gave Casey sign she understood and chased him towards the manhole covered even if she did not like leaving a man behind with the horde closing in on her... uh woman behind... she slides down the rungs after him and lands beside him - "Hurry up girl!" She calls up and looks at Mel reaching out a hand to stabilize her, "Huh we will move shortly."

April smiled in relief when Angel and Casey joined her and Mel.

Yes she was worried for her neighbours girl - but these two... and Raph.

She sent him a quick message to alert him to the fact they made it under ground.

"Hurry up out there Erica!" she called.

Wondering what it was the girl planned and just encase whatever it was was close enough to cause them injury she began to usher the group away from the manhole.

Sweetheart?

Erica would have come back several varieties of 'do I look sweet to you?' smarty remarks but they could not banter here.

And she needed to ensure the Alley was crowded with these... the infected... the dead... and not get bit!

She side steps the few straggling over those knocked to battered pieces by Casey and Angel. Honestly she though that kind of fighting - zombie fighting was only a thing for video games....

Following Angel but pausing over the man hole Erica flicked the lighter she had a few times, Nerves on edge - how did Casey and Angel fight these? she wanted to run - to flee... but had to wait had until the milling horde that had been fighting to get to them was all packed into the alley, those in front closing in.

Ten feet... Erica stepped down the rungs a little dragging the man hole cover over with one hand, the other flicking the lighter, in her mind an extract from Fall Out Boy; My Song Know What You Did In The Dark rising to her lips unbidden, but so appropriate.

Flick Flick the lighter in her hand refused to spark, she gave it a shake... Singing letting her voice draw them closer... this time to ensure as many of them went down in this as possible!

"Gonna need a spark to ignite!"

Her voice strong seemed to light the flame finally!

"My songs know what you did in the dark," the shuffling horde feet away as she skidded the lite lighter into a puddle of the shiny rainbow sheen-ed fuel two feet from her, yanking the manhole cover as far over as she could as the first HISS told her the flames caught -

"So light em up up up, light em up up up,
light em up up up, I'm on fire!" the last word echoed by the roaring WOMPPPH above as the spilled fuel and all the bottom soaked misc stuff in the alley way went up in a inferno -

Erica dropped down further landing on the sewer below, "Light them up indeed..." She whispers - And then what she had been waiting for - the explosion as what ever fuel was left in the turned over truck up there ignited.

She could not know there was a firewall above-

Though some of the intense heat could be felt above their heads, and most horrifyingly to a girl that had never killed anything more than a spider her entire life - the screeeeching, screams and yowls of those infected, reanimated things as they roasted in the blaze, the stench of the burning flesh even invading them down here and over riding the sewer smell!

Raphael should have known that allowing words to rile him up could end badly for him. It was his father's toughest lesson- the one thing he could not get through to his hot-tempered son. And it seemed this 'Cat' knew just how to push his buttons and get his worked up past the point of rationality. To a more skilled fighter, it would give the upper hand, but to a lesser, the outcome would not turn in their favor.


It still remained to be seen where Tiger Claw fell on this spectrum. Raph blocked, countered and drove forcefully his own attacks, his weapons clashing against the Feline's claws as he attempted to snag them between the prongs of his sai with the intentions of giving him a backwoods declaw job. "Don't you even -think- of her!!" The Turtle hissed, blood boiling despite the frigid atmosphere. One of the Tiger's previous assaults had met it's mark and left a set of gashes in his left arm, but adrenaline and anger masked the pain.


Having his Shell Cell on silent, Raphael was unaware of the received text and that his friends were safely underground. Right now his full attention was on the Feline, knowing he had to do some serious damage to alter his determination of making sport of those he cared about...

Erica had called down for them to put their heads down, and then came down herself... And then there was the heat - the smell and the BOOM that reverberated.

April gagged on the smell that came down. "Uuuurgggh lets go... Erica you just blocked off Raph's way down here... dont get me wrong I am glad all those zombies are goners but my lil brother will need an escape route." And she did not know why she pointed this out to the girl... but she was worried.

However the girl nods, "Give me you phone, you have his number right? I'll hang back and find him a way down-"

April should say no - but.... "Alright but be careful, don't make him have to save your ass again." She says firmly handing over her phone. "Casey, Angel, come on we should get back to the lair."

" Is the lair warm and safe?" Mel asked leaning on Angel with most of her weight feeling sapped of her energy and strength again. The smell did bother her but she was more focused on shivering and trying to remain awake. She could make it to the lair wherever it was as she had some help to get there.

"Think Red will get down here with Erica." The young teen asked hoping they would be able to stay alive to get to the lair or wherever it was safe.

"He will or I'll kick his tail." Angel growls happily and looks at Erica when she joined them. Raising an eye brow a little at Mel, the girl had jumped out of her skin at the tigers roar but the explosion above? nope...

She sighs and throws an arm about the girls shoulders looking at the mostly unknown girl. "Erica that was awesome, see you back at the lair." She nods hearing the girl was going to ensure a escape route for Raph...

If she could of course.

She did not look like a fighter or much of a survivor to Angel, but she could be wrong. "Come on guys lets go home." She sighs to April and Casey keen to be on the way. And keen to stay behind and wait for Raph.

Erica nods, "I'll be okay." Somehow - she had better luck traveling by herself earlier so finding her way back out and up to Raph should not be an issue and avoiding as much attention as possible for the moment.

She took April's phone. "I'll bring this back." She promises. "And him." Though he could probably find his own way down into the sewers... but seeing as she had just blown the crap out of the alley above it seemed only fair she should help find another exit.

She did not know how long the two would fight for and was curious to get a look at the beast that had roared. So she gave them a smile and set off into the darkness at a slow jog - so she could spot any promising looking places where light fell.

He took full advantage of the boys rushing, forceful attacks, and though a slash or two landed, making it through the cloths and fur Tiger Claw still managed to dodge, tripping the bigger turtle, rolling away to give him self more room, claws ready for more. The battle was dangerous and the youth skilled, not as. "Mmmmm alright I shall forget about tasting strawberry," he snarls as the renewed attack found him having to kick one of those Sai holding hands away. "After all whom would not prefer a nibble of the long legged milky chocolate gal?" He had been close to losing his claws that time, they where both bloody!

But he was trying to wear the youth down, force him into anger and to battle hard, tire him out - and follow the group back to his lair! Maybe he will be able to leap the next charge an land a blow to the back of the younger mans head? Make him a bit dizzy?

He had been drawing the battle in the direction the turtles group went -

BOOOM!!

That distracted the Tiger for a moment - from the alley between the building they had just crossed to and the one opposite - a wave of heat!

Luckily the smoke that began to billow was being breeze blown away but it did not mean TC was not shocked by the sudden boom!
