| Time: 3 AM Date: November 6th- several hours after Just like Ol' times and Street Life.
It was a relief to get away from that place. While Bonesteel enjoyed a good hunt, he loathed working with clients. Especially the ones that liked to pretend they knew more than him. Damn yippies. And that little intern that tried so hard to show him up- giving orders when she was in no position to do so. And Baxter Stockman. The man that obviously had more money than common sense. Yeah. He would be relief when this deal was over. The hunter knew that he could walk away now. He had earned more than enough to live comfortable for awhile, but there were more of those shell-back about, and more money to be made. Besides, he loved the excitement of a good hunt, and he still wanted himself an undamaged shell. Hours had past since he had ventured out of that nuthouse, and not without noting the tracks of the enormous crocodilan, and what appeared to be the footprints of a young woman. He would certainly be investigating that later but for now, he had a job to do... As luck would have it, the Red Turtle had lost his phone during his capture, and Bonesteel had been mindful enough to collect it, knowing that it could serve him while hunting for one of the beast's brothers. Taking his trusty humvee, Bonesteel returned to the place he had dropped the big red one. The blood still stained the immediate area, untouched by the elements and seemed to draw no attention from the city's civilians. The Hunter parked in the same location and after loading his tranquilizer gun with a new calculated dosage, estimated from the amount that it took to bring Red down, he stepped out of his vehicle. The cell phone was then placed amidst the blood-stained pavement, along with the fallen Reptile's pair of sai. The area was pretty isolated so there was little chance that a wandering pedestrian would happen along and collect them Just as before, the rear end of the humvee was facing the ally, cloaked in complete darkness. Since he wanted this shell unharmed, less barbaric measures would be used to get the second one. His plan was to drug the creature, then use a net connected to the pully to reel the creature into the holding cage. After the 'bait' was in place, Bonesteel returned to his 'post', sitting in the back of the humvee with tranq gun at the ready... ...now the waiting game.....

| Donatello continued following the weak signal from Raph's phone. Don still didn't fully understand why it started working all of a sudden. And that fact worried him. Raph wouldn't have been able to turn it off. Don made these phones so they would have a signal whether the phone was shut off or not. At least Don had something to go on now. And it was getting stronger the closer he got to it.
Finally, he spotted it but there appeared to be more than just a phone there. As he got closer, he figured out what the other stuff was, and it made his blood run cold. Don frowned deeply. "Oh, no," he finally said, heading over to it, first picking up the phone and looked at the surrounding area. The sight nearly turned his stomach. Blood was everywhere. With the help of one of Don's handy gadgets, it didn't take long to find out it was all Raph's blood. Every single drop. His heart sank.
Frantically, he looked around, trying to see if his brother got away and hid somewhere, called his name a couple times, then crouched down to assess the situation. Wherever Raph was, he was in very bad shape. Then he spotted the drag marks which said it all. Raph was no longer here. He hoped that was just in the physical sense, because considering all the blood loss, Don wasn't holding out a lot of hope for Raph surviving his ordeal.

| And as luck would have it, Bonesteel wouldn't have to wait long. An hour passed and he had a hit! He watched as the purple-clad Turtle discovered the phone and the gore left behind from his brother's capture. The Hunter was a little taken aback by all the techno gear that adorned the tall, but lean critter. There was obvious upset which the hunter completely blocked out. He had a way of separating himself when hunting these much larger, more sentient creatures.
Tranquilizer gun took aim and the first dart was fired, destined for the creature's neck, followed by another to his shoulder, a third destined for his thigh. The cannon was then placed into position and fired, catapulting a net in the creature's direction....

| Don never saw the darts coming. Each one hit their intended mark, and Don sprang to his feet, trying to figure out where they came from. In his frantic motions he forgot to call for help - at least with his phone. He did call out for help, or at least started to, when a net came out and Don went down.
"What is this?!!!" he yelled, thrashing around as he tried to get the thing off him. But after a few minutes, the Turtle's strength was waning. The darts were having an effect on his motor skills and his limbs felt a lot heavier. He continued to struggle, nearly getting the net off of him, but he had no more fight left.
Then his eyes started to close...

| It seemed that this capture would go without complications. No need to spear the beast and reel him in as he had his brother. The Turtle was down and struggling to stay conscious, but it was just a matter of time before the drugs would spare him of the trip back to the lab.
Bonesteel exited his vehicle and approached with his dart gun, prepared to deliver another dose if needed. It seemed that wouldn't be necessary. The Hunter tightened the net around the critter to prevent him from slipping from the net as he towed him in. Lighting a cig to celebrate the moment, he peered down at the Turtle, a victorious grin plastered across his features.
"Looks like yer night just got worse, huh?" And making sure the beast was secure, he hit a button on a remote and the pulley began towing the creature towards the back of the humvee...

| And Donatello gave one more weak struggle before going completely limp and his eyes closed fully. He did get a quick glimpse of his captor before he was pulled under and was aware of himself being taken somewhere. He had no idea where he was going, but with the effects of the drugs, one good thing came out of this moment. He would finally be getting some much-needed sleep. | |

| In a matter of a few short minutes, the purple-clad beast was loaded into the back of his humvee and secured in the same cage that had been used to transport his brother to the laboratory. The hunter took a few moments to admire his prize, still puzzled by all that heavy equipment the critter was wearing, but underneath it all.. what a beautiful shell. It would certainly make a nice coffee table for his new warehouse. Now, time to get down to business but first, a nap was long overdue. Bonesteel would house the creature at his facilities until later that day. He would keep him drugged until time to make the sell. Giving the capture and the cage another quick once-over, Bonesteel climbed into the driver's seat of his humvee and made the trip back to his temporary home... To be continued in Cultural Exchange. | |
