Karaoke night

Pecking Leo's cheek and sniggering a little Erica nods, "You wont, she'd probably get up and sing along with it - most kids tend to like this song," She accepts and assures still amused.

"I'll find the song... you get the mics" and giggling she stands then moves to the karaoke thing to get this party started!

Well at least to find the song!

She heard leo ask who wanted to sing, Tiph was going to raise her hand but another girl beat her to it. that was fine, she had all night to show off her skills. And now she had a new mission. Impress Don. Though he seemed like an easy man to impress.

Could this really be happening?  To him?!  Did he finally have a girl that didn't turn and run the other way for just looking at him?  It sure seemed like it.  Don grinned cutely and pushed his glasses up his nose, nodding to her question.  "I'd love to."  A dance was a slow start to building something with this woman, but progress was progress!

"I'll be right back," he told her, heading off to get her a beer. He also had to let her invitation sink in a little more.

Angel was not entirely sure if she was early or late - but she was here!

Somewhat still taken aback that she had recalled the way by heart! But she had and now she checks herself over - she felt great despite lingering jet lag and exertion she had put into making her inherited apartment home since being back on home soil.

And she knew she looked fine!

Also whilst here she would have to invite all her old friends to her place for a house warming party!

She pulls the lever to open the door way and blinks - a whole lot of faces she did not know!

But she could see April and the Turtles and Casey, Splinter.

She places a hand on her hip and surveys the group. "Nawwww - yous all waited for me to truely get the party started?" Her voice cut easily over the babble going one thanks to the music being stopped as some one was looking for the first tune to be sung for the night. She grins - she had not seen the turtles, Splinter, Casey and April for months she expected a huge stir for her arrival - as long as Casey had not said she was back in town! but she expected excitement from her oldest friend here too!

Leatherhead noted the childs fear and was grateful Mikey compared him to a gentle lovable cartoon character and nods a little picking at some more food, content to watch the beginning of the singing... though his eye ridge did rise a little noting the latest new comer with a nod of his giant head.

He moves himself a bit further back closer to Casey, April and Shaya his snout lightly touching the shy woman's shoulder in a soft greeting. "Hello."

Her work had brought her into contact with him recently.

Splinter had in fact slid over to the tables of food and drinks to help himself to a shot of jellied vodka and a sake sip when Angel arrived.

Wow she had grown so much since last seeing them in person!

He quickly swallows the sake and sucks the jelly cup in swallowing both and moving over to the youthful woman. "Hello Miss Bridge, welcome home child..." He offers her a warm hug and smile. She was a good friend to his sons, Casey and April afterall.

She took her friend’s bottle in a nod of thanks. Shaya pulled from the beer bottle. She was not comfortable at all. Liquid courage was a start. Anxiety was shown in her curled body with her arms crossed under her chest and the bottle to her lips.

“We could sing something,” She looked at Casey wondering if the lady in his lap was too distracting to help. “A rock ballad?” She offered shrugging not hearing the quiet mutant behind her. She smiled at the couple sipping the beer, the taste was not her usual type but anything to help he loosen up.

She jumped with a stiffened body. Her shoulder blaring pain into her spine, a sensitive spot sun got to her skin. Grabbing the hand nearing throwing it from her shoulder, she was ready to bark at them while her shoulder thrummed at her She whiplashing her head around, guilt and fear washed over her.

Turning to the person who snuck up on her, she waved. “Hey there!” she squeaked feeling small and no prepared for any reaction to come.

Having picked the song, Leo got up by the machine, which was set in front of everyone. He grabbed the mic and started talking into it to make sure it worked. He then handed Erica the other mic. Was quite sure that no one would want to here his singing, and that made it all the more amusing.

Okay, so it was probably Love's intent to get Raphael all hot and bothered, and the feline was doing a pretty damn good job. Why did this Pussy get under his skin so badly? Usually she just irritated him but now.. now she was driving him crazy in a completely different way. "Yer an unstoppable force of nature, you know that.." He huffed, gaze scanning the room for another source of distraction. He noticed a familiar face off in the distance and soon realized it was.. Angel?!


Gah, she had grown since he's last seen her. At the moment she was being greeted and hugged by Splinter. Maybe he could slip off over in that direction and welcome his long lost friend...

Guiltily Leatherhead lowers his head to her eye level, "Hello to you two Shy one.... I did not mean to startle you." He assures with his usual friendly smile he wore for her. "It is wonderful to see you here." He adds feeling more and more comfortable, his turtle friends, Splinter, Erica and Shaya all here.

Erica giggles a little and standing beside Leo, it felt like for a moment it might be just them - singing was something she loved, Leo someone she loved, but as the opening notes of 'Let it go' filled the lair and she was the first to sing, she forgot they were not alone, a hand slipping down to his free hand in that intertwined fingers sort of way.



And she knew he sounded alright singing - but she wondered how many here he would surprise? Her own voice she knew sounded great.

The orange clad turtle could not decide which floored him more -

Leo singing and not sounding half bad, or maybe it was the delightful singing of his duet buddy - missing how close the pair seemed entirely -

or the appearance of -

"Angel!" He skips over and catchs her as Splinter lets go, snugging... or god she smelled and felt so good, "Damn sexy girl-" and she was! "Welcome home!" He pecks her and lets go.

Angel giggled, "Sensei," She greets warmly feeling the brush of that soft fur on her bare skin and loving the comfort and warmth and security it seem to add to his warm tone and voice. "It is wonderful to see you too - and be home." And she meant it, and no sooner had they part - and

was LEO singing?!

With some pretty little number beside him!

And for that matter singing Let it go!?

Her eyes may have been wide in astonishment and her respectful bow to Splinter was cut short - by none other than the noisy one Mikey!

She laughed and hugged him back he was taller and more buff than she recalled and she felt the increased strength of his hold. "Mikey! I missed you. And thank you I do try." She grins and kisses his cheek. Drawing back wondering whom of her extended family would be next to hug her?!

And floored - Leo honestly did not sound that bad singing

Chuckling and withdrawing with a bow back to the young woman and telling himself it was the alcohol that made him take in her shape and not the fact she was a young woman now Splinter grins, "Come eat when you can Angel, and there is drinks." He nods and leaves her to Michelangelo's cheerful greeting.

He had been listening to Leonardo and the youth Erica smiling, t was a good beginning to their evening of singing and as he found another jelly shot he flickered whiskers and wondered what it was he felt like belting out?

And it seemed some other girl had taken Raph's attention. Well that sucked. Maybe Love should have just given up on red. But that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

She grabbed a beer and turned to Leo and Erica who were singing. They didn't sound all that bad. She for one would not be singing tonight, Someone would probably toss a shoe at her head.

Don was gone longer than he anticipated.  But it was mostly due to him trying to rehearse in his head how he wanted to talk to this girl.  Thinking he had it down the best he would be able to, he returned to her side, handing her her beer.

"So, what brings you here?" he started, leaning against the wall next to her.  "The food?  The music?  The dancing?"  Then he paused a moment, blushing slightly. "The company?"

Raphael had also picked up on Leo and Erica as they sang that annoyingly popular Disney song. Okay,so maybe they didn't sound that bad but considering that Leo was involved, yeah-- he would never admit that fact. The red-clad Turtle wasn't sure if Love would follow him over to where his long lost friend was being greeted, but he headed in Angel's direction, standing in the distance as he awaited his turn. And then it came, and he slowly stepped closer as if moving too fast  could cause her to vanish like the ghost she had become. Like the others, he couldn't help but notice how much she had changed. Damn, she was smokin' hot now!


A toothpick dangled from the corner of his lips as a smile stretched across them. "Well look what the cat dragged in." He finally spoke, flashing her a wink. Heh-- cat. And ironically there was probably one hovering close. "Long time no see."

It shouldn't have taken this long to get here!! Gah, why did Gabriel have to be so claustrophobic and paranoid about the sewers?! Ally had met up with Gabe and Lexi two hours prior and while at first the curly haired thug was reluctant to go, his tune changed when he found out it was a party and there would probably be booze and girls there.


Ally was dressed in a  skimpy short form-hugging orange dress with knee high black boots that complimented her slender legs. Mmm.. orange. It was obvious who she had come here to see! Lexi chose a black form fitting dress that showed off her beautiful curves, and  a pair of black high heels that laced up a good portion of her long legs. The heels probably weren't the best choice for traveling the sewers, but they looked amazing with that dress!


Gabriel, figuring that the girls were over-dressed or um.. underdressed, assumed that this was a casual type thing. He would go as he normally appeared-- sporting a pair of jeans and a black wife-beater that showed off his tattoos, even the large Purple Dragon that would highlight the fact that he belonged to the gang. After finding out that they were going into the sewers, it took a lot of coaching and persuading, but the two girls finally managed to get him down that manhole. It quickly became obvious that he was not comfortable in enclosed places, and the smell was almost more than he could take! Ally certainly was enjoying this and teased the living daylights out of him, while Lexi tried to give moral support. She kept reminding him that Ezekiel and Isabella would be there (and she personally hoped that Laz would show), and it seemed to be his driving force.



It took some time, but the trio of the Turtles' most unlikely friends finally made it to the lair. A huge grin stretched across Ally's lips as they stepped inside, and she proudly announced their arrival.. "TROUBLE IS IN THE HIZOUSE!"

In true Mikey fashion he whoooped and hollered as Leo and Erica finished singing. mostly for Erica - she had a great voice - the bonus might be it annoyed Raph and Donnie and might make Leo feel a bit self conscious...

He'd just back away from Angel to leave her to Raph's greeting grinning himself feeling the night could not possibly get better!

Then it did...

"A - Ally!?" The orange clad turtle's eyes could not have been any more round... or more obvious as they raked over the spunky blonds orange clad form.... holy tap dancing jesus fudge sucklin christ!!

He felt a rattling churr build and swallowed it with his usual gusto. "Hah! AngelCake!" He pounces forward catching the soft slim form in a hug. "Hey Lexi, Gabe -" He wolf whistles and winks at Lexi, "looking good gorgeous Lex." He laughs offering Gabe knuckles to bump - other arm firmly about Ally and a kiss finding her cheek. "Girl your on fire! - didn't I tell you orange was your color?" He added this in a whispered growl nibbling on the cheek he'd just kissed - drawing back a little not sure if she would be content to stay in his hold.

he was going to have troubles looking anywhere else tonight. And was intensely glad he showered. And smelled like the food he'd cooked.

"Raph? -" Angel gasps.

if Mikey had grown -

"Ha holy crap! look at you! dang boy you have been eating your greens! And here was me hoping I'd caught up to ya" She laughs lightly punches his shoulder in greeting - full well knowing the old greeting between them as buds would not hurt in the least even if she was much better at it, both aim, speed and strength! And she had grown taller since last she had seen them.

"Come on HotHead wheres the love?" She grins opening her arms for a hug to the very big turtle - whom did not hug much and to be honest she normally did not either but they were old friends and it had been a difficult time when she left, surely they could indulge in this?

Master Splinter bowed his head, "Welcome Welcome." He says to the most recent arrivals chuckling at Michelangelo's eager greetings.

Well this was certainly going to be an interesting evening. And he had noted the seeming closeness of Leonardo and the girl whom'd been introduced to him not long after Raphael had come home was strong and healed enough to do so.

Though he had been aware of Leonardo heading out a bit over the last few weeks. Maybe he would corner his son and talk to him about that.

The rat smiled and resolved to chit chat when the general hubbub subsided and the karaoke was in swing enough for folks to take turns and sing. He himself had a few songs in mind to try out.

Ally had managed a little curtsy to Splinter just before the radar known as Mikey scoped her out, and she suddenly found herself in his welcoming embrace. A huge smile stretched across her lips as she returned it with crushing school girl eagerness and also gave him a peck on the cheek, giggling quietly.


"Oh, yes-- orange definitely looks good on me." She gave a naughty sort of wink, not at all minding his hold on her.



"S'up, man." Gabriel greeted and returned the knuckle-bump, still trying to settle the uneasiness in his stomach. He looked slightly shaken, but was trying to play that shit off like a hardcore street rat who had seen it all-- but obviously he had not smelled it all! Thankfully the lair was much more pleasant and had a very homey feel to it. He didn't see Ezekiel right off and that was a let down.. maybe he had changed his mind. But he was already here, may as well make the best of it. At least there were plenty of beautiful girls and a table full of drinks-- hopefully some alcoholic. Giving a little nod at Mike and Ally, he excused himself from the two lovebirds and made his way towards the beckoning table.


Lexi smiled at Mikey's compliment and gave his cheek a gentle pinch. "Awww, thank you handsome." She winked at him. As fun as the youngest Turtle was, she knew that Ally probably wanted him all to herself, so she needed to find her own form of entertainment. It didn't take her long to spot Leo with some girl. Maybe she would go over and say 'hi'. Leo would always hold a special place in her heart.


"You two have fun-- but not too much." The brunette winked and gave a cute wave before heading in Leo's direction....


Now having Mikey all to herself, Ally's smile grew a little wider and it was obvious that she was in no hurry to leave his embrace. Nuzzling him softly, a cheeky unseen grin stretched across her lips as she leaned in and pressed them against Mikey's. It was a short peck to test the waters.. if he liked it, open invitation! "Mmmm.. you smell delicious my widdle Buttercup!"

Had he really grown that much since the last time they had seen each other? Yeah, probably. Growth was one of those things that you never noticed yourself but others could quickly point out, especially if it had been awhile. "Heh, yeah. Greens and you know.. small children." He winked, of course joking about that last bit.


"An' yer gonna have to eat a hell of a lot more greens if yer gonna catch up to me." He teased, returning the arm-punch but mindful to go gentle. Angel was as tough as nails but he was well aware of his size and when not angered, had the capacity to recognize his own strength.


Gah, it was so good to see her and deep down, Raphael was a sentimental kind of guy. Pushing his 'rugged bad boy don't hug!' persona to the side, the big guy wrapped his strong arms around her and gave a gentle squeeze. "Good to see you, Angel." There was a small churr in his voice as her scent met his sensitive sense of smell. She smelled amazing!


"How have you been?"

Once Gabe and the others showed up she practically ran over Ezekiel to get to Gabe. Babe! you came! She cheered and wrapped her arms around Gabe's neck and gave him a kiss.

The moment wouldn't last long, soon a little girl was tugging on Gabe's pants with a smile and wanting to be picked up.

Leo had finished his song with Erica when he seen lexi. he went up to her and gave her a hug. It's good to see you guys. Help yourselves to whatever.

A bit of everything. I'm a singer by profesion so I thought this would be right up my alley. The food is good. But i'm starting to find the company even better. She told Don and scooted close to him with a smile. If I dare to say so. You are the most attractive of your brothers. I love a guy with a good brain. My own brain is inhibited by all this hair. I would ask why you came, but I guess being your home you didn't have a choice.

Well that was awkward.

Erica returned the mics to their places and turned on random songs until some one else took over.

And slid away to the back of the crowd somewhere.
